Peter Williamson has been acting as a consultant in HR for over 30 years, much of the time as a specialist in Board Level recruitment.   Latterly he has been advising smaller companies in the UK on a broad range of people issues such as recruiting, employment contracts, grievance and dismissal procedures, motivation, staff reviews and assessment.  

In addition he has advised individuals on career change including CV composition and job search strategy.

He divides his time between Jávea and North Kent.

In the early 90s he set up a small boutique recruitment business, Lawless & Williamson.

Peter read Zoology at Oxford followed by an MSc from London Business School (which is now awarded as an MBA).   For many years he was a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants.   He worked for several organizations including the management consultancy firms of Deloitte Haskins and Sells and Arthur Young, and was a director of Whitehead Mann.
